Description of Service

Flickard is a free flashcard learning application for iOS that helps users study German-English vocabulary through an interactive swipe-based interface. The App includes pre-built vocabulary packs and allows users to create custom flashcards.

Open Source License

Flickard is an open-source project released under the MIT License. The source code is available on GitHub. You are free to use, modify, and distribute the source code in accordance with the MIT License terms.

No Warranty

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to:

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data or learning progress.

User Content

Flickard allows you to create custom flashcards. You are solely responsible for any content you create within the App. All user-created content is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted or shared.

Intellectual Property

The Flickard name, logo, and pre-built vocabulary content are the property of the developer. The App's source code is licensed under the MIT License as described above.

App Store Terms

Your use of the App is also subject to Apple's App Store Terms of Service. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and Apple's terms, Apple's terms shall prevail with respect to your use of the App Store.

Changes to Terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be reflected with an updated revision date on this page.
